We are delighted to have Alexia Huan as our concertmaster for the 2024/25 season.

Born in Singapore, Alexia is currently pursuing her undergraduate studies in music at King’s College London. Since 2023, she has been a dedicated member of the King’s College London Symphony Orchestra (KCLSO) where she serves as the Associate Principal of the second violin section in 2024 and the Concertmistress of the Tour to Malta.

​

Alexia is actively involved in several orchestras, including the University of London Symphony Orchestra (ULSO), where she serves on the committee and has performed in numerous concerts. She is also a member of the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra (YMSO), the London Concert Sinfonia, and the Orchestra of the Music Makers (OMM) in Singapore.

Beyond the classical repertoire, Alexia has a passion for musical theatre. She has composed for and served as music director of musical productions by the KCL Singapore Society. She also sings and conducts regularly at her local church choir during Mass.

Alexia holds a Violin Performance Diploma with Distinction (ATCL) from Trinity College London.
