.......................................................................

Entry to the orchestra is by audition only, and applicants should be of Grade 8 standard or above. KCLSO is open to all students studying at King’s College London or students studying at other London-based universities/conservatoires. You must provide proof that you meet this criteria before we can offer you a place. We rehearse on Thursday evenings during term time from 6:30-9:30pm at the KCL Strand Campus. We perform in three concerts plus an annual international summer tour. Members have the opportunity to enter the concerto competition and/or the assistant conductor competition. To maintain the basic running of the orchestra, there is a small subscription fee of £35.

Please visit the "Audition information" page for details on the application & audition process!

We warmly invite you to join our thriving and diverse community. Aside from the weekly rehearsals, orchestra members also participate in different social activities organised by the orchestra which include post-rehearsals drinks at the local pub and concert trips.

We are very much looking forward to receiving your audition videos!
