Conductor - Daniel Hogan

We are delighted to announce that Daniel Hogan will be our new conductor for KCLSO 2024-25. Having recently finished his Masters in Conducting at the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music, Daniel brings with him a unique spirited youthfullness and passion. Daniel has worked with notable orchestras, including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in June 2023 as part of the Emerging Conductors masterclasses and concerts, where he conducted Brahm's 2nd Symphony, Movement 2. He has received individual tutoring and several masterclasses from known names of the classical music scene, including Paavo Järvi in 2022 at the Järvi Conducting Academy in Estonia and Sir Antonio Pappano.

Recently, he has been working with the BBC Concert Orchestra as Assistant Conductor for Ellie Slorach, to record televised performances in June 2024.
